I’ve learned not to look off the cliff I don’t want to ride off – instead, I look at the trail ahead. It’s that trail that takes you away from the past and up to the overlook with the scenic view. When you bike you don’t look backward – you must look forward. The bike is the partner, the means, the vehicle, the tool for embarking on the journey, but it’s the lessons you learn along the way that makes the story rich. It IS about the bike for me, and it isn’t.
